Kaohsiung
Begin your day by visiting Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center, located about 30 minutes from downtown Kaohsiung. This sprawling Buddhist complex is one of Taiwan's most significant religious sites and home to the towering Fo Guang Shan Buddha. After visiting Fo Guang Shan, head back to the city and explore Pier-2 Art District, a vibrant and creative area located along the Kaohsiung harbor. After enjoying dinner and the vibrant night market scene, check into your hotel in Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung - Taitung
Start your day by visiting Duoliang Railway Station, a picturesque, historical railway station located on the coastal railway line between Taitung and Kaohsiung. The station was once an important stop, but now it serves as a tourist spot. After visiting Duoliang Station, head to Huayuan Bay, which is located along the eastern coastline of Taiwan. This bay is known for its dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear water. In the afternoon, head to Luye Highland, which is about a 30-minute drive from Huayuan Bay. This area is famous for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as its vast tea plantations. After a full day of exploring, head to Taitung City for your overnight stay.

Taitung
Begin your day with a visit to Chulu Ranch, located about 20 minutes from Taitung City. This large ranch offers a variety of activities centered around nature and animals. After Chulu Ranch, head to the National Museum of Prehistory in Taitung, which is about a 15-minute drive from the ranch. In the afternoon, head to Taitung Forest Park. This park is a peaceful oasis, offering beautiful natural landscapes with walking trails, lakes, and plenty of wildlife. After a busy day of exploration, relax and enjoy the calm of the city in the evening.

Taitung - Hualian
Start your day by heading to Jinzun Recreation Area. This area is popular for its beach, clear blue water, and relaxed atmosphere, making it ideal for a morning visit. Sanxiantai is famous for its unique natural landscape, particularly the three large rocks that the name refers to, as well as the beautiful arch bridge connecting the mainland to the island. Make your way to Shitiping Scenic Area. This area is known for its dramatic coastal cliffs and unique geological formations. In the evening, head back to Hualien City and visit the Dadongmen Night Market, one of the most famous night markets in the area. Conclude the day in Hualian.

Hualian - Yilan
Start your day by visiting Taroko National Park, one of Taiwan's most famous natural wonders. Taroko is famous for its dramatic marble gorge, towering cliffs, and lush forests. Head to Xincheng Old Street, a charming historical area near Taroko Gorge. This street is known for its traditional Taiwanese architecture, local handicrafts, and street food stalls. After visiting Xincheng Old Street, drive to Taiwan Cement DAKA Park. This park is a beautiful green space designed around the cement factory’s past. On your way to Yilan, stop by a famous Yilan Cake Shop. Yilan is known for its delicious traditional pastries, and this is the perfect opportunity to try some local treats, stay the night in Yilan.

Yilan
Start your day early by visiting the Qilan Giant Trees, located in the Qilan Forestry Area. This area is known for its towering ancient trees, some of which are over 1,000 years old. After exploring the Qilan Giant Trees, head to a local DIY scallion pancake experience. This unique activity combines the traditional Taiwanese scallion pancake with a twist of making macaron-style pancakes. Visit Kavalan Distillery, located in the Yuanshan Township, famous for its high-quality Taiwanese whiskey, and a visit to the distillery is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the whiskey-making process and taste the different varieties. Stay the night in Yilan.

Yilan - Taipei
Start your day with a visit to Guishan Island, a small island located off the coast of Yilan. The island is known for its beautiful views and unique landscapes, including volcanic rock formations and lush greenery. It is also a great spot for birdwatching, especially migratory birds. Pinglin Tea Museum, located in the scenic Pinglin Township in the hills of northern Taiwan. Pinglin is known for its high-quality oolong tea, especially the famous Wenshan Pouchong Tea. Next, head to Shenkeng Old Street, a charming historical town in New Taipei City that is known for its preserved old architecture and traditional Taiwanese snacks. Drop off in Taipei and end the journey.
