Announcement of the 2025 Taiwan Michelin Guide

On August 19, 2025, the latest edition of the Michelin Guide Taiwan was officially announced.

This marks the 8th year of the Michelin Guide Taiwan. In addition to the previous four covered areas – Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung – this year New Taipei City, Hsinchu City, and Hsinchu County have also been newly added.


Over 400 Listings!

This year’s guide features a total of 419 establishments:

  • ★★★ Three Stars: 3 restaurants

  • ★★ Two Stars: 7 restaurants

  • ★ One Star: 43 restaurants

  • Bib Gourmand: 144 restaurants

  • Green Star: 7 restaurants

  • Selected: 222 restaurants

8 Years in a Row with Three Stars!?

Among the star-rated restaurants, one highlight is Le Palais, the Cantonese fine dining restaurant at Palais de Chine Hotel.Le Palais has earned three Michelin stars for eight consecutive years, serving the finest Cantonese cuisine featuring fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, dim sum, and exquisite multi-course menus.

The set course menu starts at 4,980 NTD per person (minimum 2 persons), with à la carte options also available. While prices are on the higher side, its consistent three-star recognition proves its world-class quality—making it a must-try experience at least once.

Bib Gourmand – Affordable Yet Delicious!

Don’t miss the Bib Gourmand selections, which highlight restaurants offering good quality food at affordable prices.This year, 144 restaurants were recognized, including 37 new entries.

Famous names include:

  • Din Tai Fung, the legendary xiaolongbao brand

  • Shuang Yue Food, a chain known for hearty soups with multiple branches in Taipei

  • Ji Jia Zhuang, with two popular locations in Taipei

These Bib Gourmand restaurants are perfect for everyday dining—delicious, affordable, and convenient stops during sightseeing.
